We are pleased to announce that the 23rd Spring Meeting of Young Economists (SMYE2018) will take place in Palma (Mallorca, Spain) between 30th May and 1st June 2018. The conference will be hosted by the Applied Economics (DEA) and the Business Economics (DEE) departments of the University of Balearic Islands.
The goal of the conference is to promote the exchange of ideas and experience among young economists conducting research in all fields of economics. More information about our mission can be found on the website of the European Association of Young Economists: http://eaye-smye.blogspot.be/.
The upcoming SMYE 2018 is delighted to announce three distinguished keynote speakers: Manuel Arellano (CEMFI), Margaret Meyer (University of Oxford), and Pol Antràs (Harvard University). Further details concerning the conference are available on: http://smye2018.weebly.com/
You are cordially invited to submit your extended abstract (between 4,000 and 8,000 characters) or full paper at https://www.conftool.pro/smye2018/ by 1st December 2017. Authors will be informed about the acceptance of their submission by 15th February 2018. This year’s participation fee for accepted participants will be 65 euros. Participants will have to cover their expenses for travel and accommodation. A prize for the best paper will be awarded during the conference.
